Designed to inspire your next adventure.

Been daydreaming after seeing incredible images of the Maldives on Instagram? Heard everyone talking about how beautiful Bali is, or the latest buzz around the new hotel opening in Cornwall? Then FashTravels is your next step before booking. To be ‘fashionable’ simply means to be ‘popular’ – and we can help you sort the good places, from the absolute best.

We offer first-hand UK and worldwide destination and hotel reviews, including video content, as well as thoughtful edits and roundups, and travel advice, all including loads of unbiased opinion: if we say we like it, you can be sure we’d be pleased as pie to go back.

My holiday saviour. Thank you Catherine, you have taken all of the stress out of my holiday planning. Before I came across FashTravels, I was endlessly searching and searching for information on Thailand; where’s good to go, what to expect, what to visit. I am now planned, booked and confident that I will make the most out of my trip. Next time FashTravels will be my first port of call.Abi Hutchinson, @_lady_abi

Our aim is to provide you with professionally researched content designed to help inspire your next adventure – be that paddleboarding in Indonesia, eating at a new restaurant in London, enjoying the latest entertaining pop up in your own town, visiting a European city for a weekend away, or embarking on a trip to the other side of the world.

Style is important: but that doesn’t always have to mean ‘expensive’. From boutique and family run boltholes to big, shiny all-inclusive places, to feature on our site a destination or hotel has to be design led and newsworthy, as well as offering a big draw to get you there – be that activities or location. Here, you’ll find a range of articles, from reviews of always stylish and, often, food-lead destinations – you’ll learn that our stomach often leads the way. FashTravels is edited by lifestyle journalist, Catherine Hudson.

“I’m a a 33-year-old, Yorkshire born, London-living writer and magazine editor who loves my city but would (usually) rather be abroad exploring and having foreign adventures. I have worked in print and digital parenting lifestyle journalism since 2010, and am always excited to share stories of my adventures, whether they are down the road in London, or a plane ride away.”@fashtravels / @fashcatherine

People are talking about FashTravels…

Giles, blogger @youthedaddy: “Always the go to blogger for holiday inspiration!

Jenny, @novadeluxe: “Your relaxing holiday tips you sent are brilliant and definitely helping with the next holiday planning!

Gemma, @daisies_and_dinosaurs_decor: I love your [Instagram] feed – you always make the UK look so pretty!

Catherine says: “I started my website as a blog, back in 2009, during a University class that taught us ‘how to set up a blog’. A blog? What was that? In 2009, people still wrote in paper diaries, (I STILL write in mine, #justsaying), Twitter was only just about to go mainstream, Instagram was a twinkle in Silicon Valley’s eye and Apple’s app store was a mere one-year-old. I kept writing my blog after leaving university, mainly because I love writing, organising and collecting things, all in equal measure, and a blog was a fascinating way of keeping a visual diary.

Having honed my skills on the job over the past near decade, FashTravels, in it’s new guise, is a place for me to share unbiased travel reviews and opinions with you, my readers. I have worked through the transition in media, from print dominating through digital content becoming king – let’s see what the next ten years bring.”
