Best place for a gin in London: Mother’s Ruin, Walthamstow

We celebrated World gin day 2015 with gin and Fever Tree tonic (and rather large slices of cake) at Mother’s Ruin in Walthamstow Village. I had a floral Geranium gin and my friend had one flavoured with raspberry and lemon.
The industrial estate that Mother’s Ruin is on is one of my favourite places in London. It is a triangle of Mother’s Ruin, God’s Own Junkyard (largest collection of neon sign art in the world) and Wildcard Brewery – which is the perfect combination of most of my favourite things: gin, cake, neon, bright lights, and craft beer… Also, the brewery is now serving woodfired pizza. Talk about a perfect weekend retreat! More posts about this place, with lots more pictures to come…
