By now, we all know that parenting in general, and ‘mummy blogging’ in particular, has become a huge area of interest on Instagram – but what about the ‘daddy’ bloggers/vloggers/Instagrammers? Dads are becoming increasingly prominent in the blogosphere, posting all about their kids and how actively they parent. And now, they are stepping out of their often unseen ‘Instahusband’ role, and in front of the camera. The Instadads are making waves all of their own.
I hosted the Junior Design Awards for the third year in a row this year, and invited ‘Instadad’, Greg Stanton, AKA @London_Dad, to be a part of our panel. This got me thinking, who else is ‘on the scene’? Turns out, there’s a fair amount of testosterone turning up on our Instafeeds, which can surely only be good news. Bring it on…
1 – @london_dad AKA Greg (below)
“Husband and Daddy 🍳Founder of @dadsbreakfastclub 🔎Curator of @teaminstaparent 👓Assistant to @avocadomag”
Greg posts about life as a working parent in London and dotes on his daughter, Etta, wife, Alice and dog, called ‘Cat’. Follow for cool, mainly black and white, images of their adventures – and, huge congratulations are in order as Alice is pregnant with their second child!

2 – @growing_up_with_boys AKA Andrew (below)
“Father to 2 boys Husband to the fabulous @eatsleeplovebaby Growing up….slowly”
Andrew is the husband of Laura, who runs their luxury nursery boutique Eat Sleep Love. His Instagram is fairly new, but I’m hoping for fun family pics and chic interiors, since their boutique is so cool.
3 – @papa_pukka AKA Matt (below)
Matt is the partner of Anna who runs Mother Pukka – the successful website ‘for people who happen to be parents’. I love the colourful pics in Matt’s feed, and their joint ‘parenting the shit out of life’ approach.
4 – @dulwich_dad AKA Ben (below)
“Fashions come & go, style is timeless’ ▪️Husband + dad of 2 ▪️Commute + kids ▪️❤️ Watches ▪️❤️ Trainers”
Ben is behind the new stylish parenting ‘stuff’ online boutique, Beyond the Stork, launching soon. His mainly black and white Insta feed often features his children climbing on or hanging off him. Follow for stylish parenting inspo.

6 – @russell_and_beck AKA Russell (below)
“Husband to Sophie. Daddy to Beckett. 31•12•2014• Nurturing a potential England football captain or perhaps the director of a future James Bond film”
A fairly new blog, Russell blogs about day to day parenting life from a dad’s eye view. His is one of the most visually pleasing and creative of all the Instadad feeds, very cool.
7 – @youthedaddy AKA Giles (below)
“Dad-to-be blogger and reviewer, giving the guy’s perspective on pregnancy, babies and parenthood”
Giles is an ‘impatient dad in waiting’. Blogging about pregnancy and babies from a dad’s perspective, I love Giles’ sense of fun and excitement, and he takes lovely pictures of his wife and her baby bump.

8 – @dayjam AKA Jamie (below)
“Dad to Edie (3y) & Arlo (7m) • Married @georgialday • Parenting blogger • WWFC • Two dogs”

9 – @father_of_daughters AKA Simon (below)
“Father to 4 girls Husband to 1 @mother_of_daughters O U T N U M B E R E D 👩👩👧👧🙇 I’m all about the captions.”
Simon is father to four beautiful daughters, including twin babies. After seeing how mums were ‘winning’ at social media, Simon decided he wanted a piece of the action, too – to give dads a ‘voice’. Follow Simon for tips and advice on living with and bringing up girls, and for reams of funny photos.
10 – @thatdadblog AKA Alan (below)
“Father of six – one blessed with an extra chromosome and the ability of flight.”
After discovering his fifth child had Downs Syndrome, father Alan went on a hunt to find out all the info he could. He ended up setting up his own vlog to show how great life could be, living with a child who has Downs Syndrome. His posts showing his son ‘flying’ regularly go viral. Follow for lots of fun and fantastical images.
